I went in a shopping mall today because well, I do that sometimes. You should know that I’m also looking for a job so this is a good place to find jobs. So I was walking in the mall when I saw a nice store with a sign “Employees needed” in front of it (for those who know me, it was in french indeed, in a masculine form). I already knew this store, it’s a cool medieval figures and clothing store (for both men and women). So I asked about the job and the lady told me that they were looking for WOMEN ONLY. I asked why. Her answer was that it was a request from their customers, because they also sell wedding dresses (medieval style wedding dresses) so you need to tell the customer if she looks nice or not, and sometimes you could see them with only their bra on. Well, they also sell men clothes, so she told me that usually men don’t care if it’s a female employee that look at them. WHAT THE HECK?! I’M GAY AND I DON’T LIKE BOOBS, SO WHAT’S WRONG? So when I was walking out the store, I said out loud “Well you should write “WOMEN NEEDED” instead of “EMPLOYEES NEEDED”“.

I hope she heard it.

Sincèrement, pensez-vous que ça vaut la peine de manquer une session pour ça ? C’est ben beau vouloir que le prix de l’éducation change pas mais c’est inévitable… Le gouvernement n’y a pas touché pendant trop longtemps, maintenant ils manquent de budget (vive l’inflation !). Croyez-vous pas que la meilleure solution serait une hausse sur un terme plus long ? Je veux dire, arrêtez de pas vouloir de hausse, on n’a pas le choix. Une hausse sur un terme plus long veut dire qu’on paierait plus, mais sur un plus long terme. Avez-vous pensé à l’aide financière également ? Le gouvernement veut donner des alternatives mais vous voulez pas, vous voulez tout gratuit. Je suis désolé mais y’a rien de gratuit dans la vie, à un moment ou à un autre il faut payer…

Je suis légèrement tanné d’entendre parler de la grève.

What is Browzad?

Recently, one of my family’s friend was telling me how this thing called Browzad made her win a digital camera… I was surprised and I wondered if I could try it. It is cool, but I didn’t win anything yet. I have a lot of points though, like 2105.

The thing is pretty simple: you put the page they give you as your browser start page, and you gain points everytime you open it (up to 25 points a day). Then you have contests in which you can bid points and you can win them. You also have automatic contests and you can win 100 points (I won a lot of those, that’s why I have so many points). They do a draw every hour and if you happen to open your browser during this hour, you’re in the contest.

I was just wondering how they make their money. Well, you might be wondering too… That’s pretty straightforward: on your start page, there is an advertisement at the top. So they get paid for that.

Oh, and you can also choose what page you want Browzad to open for you everytime you open your browser. Like if you want Browzad to open Google, it’s going to open Google and put their bar at the top.
